Hutait noted that the base that was targeted during the strike was the same one that fired a missile at Israel recently. "The US sent the message to Israel that we are with Israel in the Syria issue as well," he said.\r\n\r\n\tHutait added that a second message was sent to the terror groups in Syria that the US would target any aircraft that may target the terror groups.\r\n\r\n\tAccording to Hutait, a third message was sent to Saudi and Turkey which were dissatisfied with the recent US stance that the Syria President Bashar Assad may remain in power.\r\n\r\n\t"Saudi wishes direct US attack to overthrow Assad while Turkey considers a US strike as a first step for the establishment of no fly zone in Syria," he said.\r\n\r\n\tHutait added however that the US would not continue such strikes as it would realize that the strikes had failed to meet its goals.","content_html":"
