\r\n\tIsraeli forces have once again clashed with Palestinians at al-Aqsa Mosque compound in East al-Quds ('Jerusalem') as Israeli troops and settlers continue their acts of violence in the holy site.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tThe clashes broke out at the holy site on Monday, following the deployment of Israeli soldiers to the area for the Jewish Sukkot holiday.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tAlso on Sunday, clashes broke out across the compound after Israeli police stormed the holy site and fired rubber-coated steel bullets and stun grenades at Palestinian protesters.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tIsraeli police also imposed severe restrictions to block access of Palestinians to the al-Aqsa Mosque compound, preventing all Palestinian men under 50 from entering the site.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tThe mosque, widely revered by Muslims, has been the scene of clashes between Palestinians and Israeli settlers and troops in recent weeks.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tIsraeli soldiers have attacked and injured dozens of Palestinians who have held rallies against Tel Aviv’s military assaults on the al-Aqsa Mosque since September 13.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tTel Aviv regime forces have applied sweeping restrictions on entry into the al-Aqsa Mosque compound since August 26.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tThe al-Aqsa Mosque is Islam’s third holiest site after Masjid al-Haram in Mecca and Masjid al-Nabawi in Medina, Saudi Arabia.
