\r\n\tUN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon moved on Monday to confirm that Israel has committed war crimes in its war on Gaza in summer 2014 that turned genocidal when the regime's forces resorted to the mass killings of the Palestinian civilians in a bungled bid to crush the resolve of the Palestinian fighters.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tBan's admittance however was only confined to the killings of 44 Palestinians in Israeli attacks against UNRWA schools in Gaza in which Palestinian civilians had taken shelter.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tThe UN report by no means covers the extent of Israeli war crimes in the war through it is a step forward.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tIt is a step forward because it helps shed light on part of the Israeli war crimes in Gaza and reminds one that Israel would resort to any means in wars including shear war crimes.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tThe report would also be interpreted as a step forward as it would help the Palestinian Authority to file a UN verified suit against Israel in the International Criminal Court to which it acceded recently. The PA would be now monitored whether it puts its schism with Hamas ahead of the case.<\/p>\r\n
