\r\n\tHamas welcomed on Tuesday evening the collapse of the Israeli Premier Binyamin Netanyahu’s coalition government as a sign of Palestinian resistance’s victory, according to PIC.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tSpokesman for the Movement Sami Abu Zuhri said that “the collapse of the Israeli coalition is another example of our victory and of Netanyahu’s defeat in Gaza.”<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tThe statement was made hours after Netanyahu fired Finance Minister Yair Lapid as well as 'Justice' Minister Tzipi Livni, effectively disbanding the government.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tFollowing Netanyahu’s decision to dismiss two key ministers in his government, four ministers from Israel's Yesh Atid party resigned from the coalition government.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tAs a result, Netanyahu called for the dissolution of the Knesset.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tAnother comment on Netanyahu's decision to disband the Knesset came from deputy chairman of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya, who said that the Israeli national security theory had fallen apart.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tHaneyya said in a telephone address to the Second International Forum of Solidarity with the Palestinian people in Lebanon that Israeli occupation did not and will never achieve its aims in Gaza as long as the Palestinian resistance continues to be present.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tHe stressed the importance of Palestinian resistance as a strategic option to remove occupation. He also warned of the suspicious attempts to delay the reconstruction of the Strip.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tHaneyya pointed out that hundreds of homes are still totally destroyed, calling on the Arab and Islamic Nation to accelerate their reconstruction.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tHamas’s deputy chairman also hailed the unity of and coordination between resistance factions during Israel’s 51-day genocidal aggression on Gaza.<\/p>\r\n
