\r\n\tHamas official Mahmoud Zahar says the ongoign Palestinian protests in the occupied al-Quds ('Jerusalem') was a new intifada.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tZahar said there was a "silent intifada" in the occupied holy city.

\r\n\t"Escalating the resistance in the city is the solution to Israeli aggression," Zahar told Hamas news agency Al-Risala.
\r\n\t
\r\n\tZahar also slammed the PA security coordination with Israel. "The security coordination is a problem in that is suppresses the intifada against Israeli aggression," he stated.
