\r\n\tHamas spokesman has thanked the EU parliament for refusing to pay homage to the dead Israeli premier Ariel Sharon.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tTaher al-Nunu, said welcomed the EU parliament's rejection of the demand by one of its member to keep a one-minute silence in homage to Sharon.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tNunu said the stance proved the international community considers Sharon and other Zionist authorities as a criminal that had committed many crimes against the Palestinian nation.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tSharon was hated for his involvement in the massacre of over 3500 Palestinians at Sabra and Shatila refugee camps in Lebanon in 1982.<\/p>\r\n
