Several millions of people in Tehran took to streets to celebrate the 29th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution Monday.<\/p>\r\n
Qodsna interviewed some of the senior Iranian authorities participating in the ceremonies, asking them to express their views about the effects of the Islamic Revolution on the formation and promotion of resistance movements in the region. The authorities made some remarks in response to the question which come in the following.<\/p>\r\n
Head of the Constitutional Guardian Council, Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati said that the victory of the Islamic Revolution carried undeniable influence on the regional resistance against arrogance.<\/p>\r\n
“The victory of Islamic Revolution was a candle that ignited in Iran and lighted the region,” he said.<\/p>\r\n
Also the interim Friday Prayers Leader of Tehran, Jannati noted that the Islamic awareness the people achieved through the revolution was not comparable with any other movements.<\/p>\r\n
The day that an Islamic government is established in the region is not remote, he added.<\/p>\r\n
The victory of Hamas in the Palestinian elections and Hezbollah victory in the 33-day war were inspired by the Islamic Revolution of Iran.<\/p>\r\n
Member of Parliament Talaee Nik described the Islamic Revolution as a torch for the other nations to follow.<\/p>\r\n
He described the fruits of the Islamic Revolutions as the emergence of the Palestinian Intifada, the victory of Hezbollah against Zionist regime and the awareness of regional nations.<\/p>\r\n
Ali Larijani, representative of the IR Leader in the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), believed that the Palestinian issue had become more complicated as the superpowers didn’t allow the Palestinians nation to use their capabilities.<\/p>\r\n
Larijani denounced the position of the Islamic countries regarding the Palestinian issue, saying that the more the Muslims fill the scene, the more they could press their governments regarding the Palestinian issue.<\/p>\r\n
“The victory of Hamas in the election and the victory of Hezbollah in the 33 day war were rooted in the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.”<\/p>\r\n
He predicted a bright future for the regional resistance.<\/p>\r\n
Presidential press adviser, Ali Akbar Javanfekr said that the Islamic Revolution enjoys both a popular and religious bases.<\/p>\r\n
“Hezbollah and Hamas movements also keep on resistance based on these principles and the victory of these two is a Divine promise,” he said.<\/p>\r\n
Chief of the IRI Army’s Joint Staff, Major General Hassan Firouz Abadi said that the Islamic Revolution could awaken the nations.<\/p>\r\n
