Israel bans Prisoner's Day ceremonies

Zionist regime's police banned a festival on Saturday afternoon in Beit Ul Moqaddas commemorating Palestinian prisoner's day.

The commemoration was scheduled to be held in the Palestinian National Theatre "Al-Hakawati" in Beit Ul Moqaddas. Israeli police temporarily closed the theatre to stop the event taking place.

Palestinian minister of prisoners' affairs Ashraf Al-Ajrami had been due to attend the event, which was organized by Beit Ul Moqaddas's committee of prisoners' families and other organizations from Beit Ul Moqaddas.
