5 martyred in Israeli air strikes in Gaza

Five Palestinians were martyred Saturday and two others injured during two Israeli air raids in the Gaza Strip, medical officials said.

Six men -- all members of the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas were hit by an air-to-surface missile at Jabiliya, north of Gaza City.

In a separate incident, another member of the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades was martyred by an air-to-ground missile in the Beit Lahiya sector, in the north of Gaza, medical and Hamas sources said.
