Prof.: No Jewish nation ever existed

An Israeli professor announced in his book that there was no Jewish nation in the world at all.

According to the Russian Utra newspaper, Shlomo Zand in his book "When and how was the Jewish people invented?" stressed that the tale of Jews expulsion from their historic homeland was merely a legend misused by the Zionists to form a Jewish state.

"There was no Jewish nation at all and there was only a group of people who beleived in Judaism," he added.

"Expulsion of Jews is a false tale because Greeks never expelled people from the territories they had seized," he said adding "After victory of Arabs too, most Jews changed their religion to Islam and merged with Muslims."

Reffering to the researches conducted at the past, Zand said Spanish Jewish community has made up of Arabs who converted to Judaism.

Existance of Jewish communities among different nations and in all continents indicate that most of the claims regarding the history of Jewish nation are baseless, he said.

The claims are made by the Zionism founders who have racist thoughts, he added.
