Hamas urges for Denmark apology

 
Gaza-based Palestinian government (Hamas) called on the Danish officials to apologize to the Muslim world for reprinting blasphemous cartoons of the Last Messenger of Allah Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.).

Hamas underlined that the publication of the cartoon was an offense to the feelings of tens of millions of Muslims.

"We call for the trial of those responsible for publishing these drawings in the Danish newspapers," the government called Thursday.

Denmark's newspapers reprinted the blasphemous cartoon Wednesday in a new ploy against the Muslim world.

The caricature were first published in September 2005 by the Jyllands-Posten daily.
