"Egypt to Continue Supports of Palestinians"

Egyptian President Husni Mubarak said on Tuesday that Egypt would continue its efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people and end the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip.

In a statement to Egyptian Newspapers, President Mubarak stressed that the crisis of the Rafah crossing must be solved in accordance to crossings agreement signed in 2005 with the Palestinian National Authority and the European Union, affirming his country rejection to any foreign deployment on its territory either in Sena or else.

Mubarak made it clear that Egypt would not hesitate to protect its borders and reject any pressures as well not allow any party to exercise dictations on Egypt internal policy.
