Rockets hit Sderot amid Peres' visit

Several rockets have hit city of Sderot in western 1948 Palestine occupied territories precisely during the time Shimon Peres was meant to be visiting the area.

 

At least 10 rockets were fired Tuesday in three separate barrages, latest of which hit the city at 10 pm local time.

 

A barrage knocked out the power in one of the city's neighborhoods but most of the rockets hit open fields around the city, city's senior security officials claimed.

 

One rocket directly struck a home in the city leaving six people lightly wounded.

 

Zionist regime's president Shimon Peres was paying a visit to Sderot on Tuesday. Peres' office kept the trip secret until it was over.

 

The attack came hours after Zionist forces raided a police post in Khan Younis, killing seven Palestinian policemen.
