Winograd report proof of Israel's defeat - Spokesman

Foreign Ministry spokesman, Sayyed Mohammad-Ali Hosseini on Sunday described the final Winograd report as a document and proof of Zionist regime in the war with Hezbollah.
He made the remarks at his weekly press conference with domestic and foreign reporters.
"Israel didn’t achieve its goals in international levels and admitted to failure against Hezbollah," he said.
"The Winograd report affirms the victory of Hezbollah in the 2006 war," he added.
In the same regard, Hosseini protested to the French government for summoning of Iran's ambassador over the IRI's anti-Zionist policies, saying that the move was made under the pretext of certain realities in the region.
Hosseini regretted that France has kept silent toward escalation of Israeli crimes against people in Gaza Strip as well as the Israeli threats against Iran and other regional countries.
"Regretfully, Paris ignores such cases. It summons Iran's ambassador, probably to please the Tel Aviv regime," he noted.
Hosseini said that Iran will announce its protest by summoning French ambassador to Tehran to the Foreign Ministry.
Referring to unfriendly stand of President Nicolas Sarkozy and several other French officials, he said that the French government has based its stand on "unreal and illogical perceptions".
"Iran will revise its stance regarding France if such move by Paris continues," Hosseini emphasized.
