'Winograd Report Triumph for Whole Nation'

Senior Lebanese cleric Ayatollah Mohammad-Hussein Fadlallah asks Lebanon to consider the Winograd report as a victory for the whole nation.

"The Winograd report caused another earthquake among the Zionists. The regime confessed to defeat and disappointment. The report stressed that Israel launched the war on Lebanon," said the prominent cleric, according to the Press TV correspondent in Beirut.

The Winograd committee, investigating the handling of the 2006 war against Lebanon, published its final report on Wednesday.

"Israel has admitted that Hezbollah resistance fighters defeated the strongest army in the region," he said, adding Lebanese should realize this report 'as a great triumph and take it as a means for unity.'

Resistance is the best option when you face your enemy and I hope the report can revitalize Lebanon, he concluded.
