Iranian medics slam UN attitude towards Israel
300 Iranian physicians, paramedics and nurses on Sunday gathered in front of the United Nations office in Tehran to protest Israeli heinous crimes in Gaza Strip.
"Although we are living in a civilized era, we're unfortunately watching a tragic story of injustice and oppression in Human World," a protester said.
"We, physicians, cannot stand the babies' death due to blackout in hospitals of Gaza Strip," another protester said.
"Iran is ready to extend relief aid to the people in Gaza, anyhow", Deputy Health Minister Bahman Einollahi said.
The protesters were carrying the placards reading "American and Israeli policies are the blatant violation of human rights", and "Muslim would betray Islam by keeping silence".
They released a resolution calling on Iranian government to help establish a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) of Iranian physicians and paramedics for relief operations worldwide.
