IRI FM urges for speedy OIC session

Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki on Thursday called for speedy convention of an extraordinary session by the Organization of the Islamic Conference to find suitable solutions to the Palestinian people's problems.

Mottaki raised the call in a meeting with Azeri President Ilham Aliyev on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, while referring to the hard condition of the Palestinian nation due to the Zionist regime's criminal move in imposing an economic siege and blocking all ways used for aid shipment to the region.

Aliyev welcomed the proposal, saying his country is ready to maintain an appropriate presence in the meeting.
