US plans to uproot Islamic resistance to pave way for its plots

Tehran, Qodsna - Osama Abu Nahl, professor at Al-Azhar University in Cairo, said in an exclusive interview with the Quds News Agency that the US, the Zionist regime and their Arab allies want to eliminate all forms of resistance in order to pave the way for implementing their plans in the region.

Asked about the role of the United States and its regional accomplices in the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, the academic said:

"The US president is influenced by the Zionist lobbies, and accordingly, as we mentioned, there is no contradiction in the US policy, because the US government is a main party in the Gaza war and its goal is to eliminate the resistance in order to pave the way for its plans in the region.

There is no framework regarding the US policy towards the Israeli genocide in Gaza. Successive US administrations have taken on the task of helping Israel, believing in the Anglican Protestant doctrine that Jews must return to the Promised Land.

Therefore, whether the United States is run by Joe Biden, or by Donald Trump, or by someone else, its policies will not change. As Palestinians, our problem is not with the incumbent president of the United States, but with government institutions that believe in the Protestant religion and adhere to it. The US president is influenced by the Zionist lobbies, and accordingly, as we mentioned, there is no contradiction in the US policy, because the US government is a major party in the Gaza war and its goal is to eliminate the resistance in order to pave the way for its plans in the region.

We do not blame the Western governments, but instead we blame the Arab countries for taking a humble stance in confronting the anti-occupation policies, if not their complete complicity in supporting Israel. Therefore, from our point of view, the issue is not the double standard of the Western countries, but the abandonment and lack of support of the Arabs and Muslims for the Palestinians, as well as the desire of some Arab countries to eliminate all forms of resistance in Palestine, especially in Gaza, in order to gain the satisfaction of the Palestinian people.

There is no specific ceiling for the US support for Israel in the Gaza war, and the US governments will not care about pressures by Westerners and others as long as these pressures are not effective and the policies of the Arab countries continue in the same way, and the US political and military support for this regime will increase.”
