Guardian:

Gaza truce only option to save Israel

The Guardian has published an Observer view on the Israeli regime warning that only a ceasefire in Gaza can save Tel Aviv from its worst-ever crisis.

Tehran, Qodsna - The situation in the Israeli regime is currently dire, with the gravest crisis since 1948. The regime military forces have been accused of high civilian casualties, but the toll of innocent lives in the war in Gaza has reached intolerable levels. It is facing unprecedented international condemnation and diplomatic isolation, even from traditional allies like the US and Britain.

The UN human rights council has supported an investigation into possible crimes against humanity in Gaza, and the Israeli regime is also accused of perpetrating genocide before the world's highest court. Meanwhile, Iran is threatening revenge for an air strike, potentially escalating the conflict further.

In addition to external threats, it is also experiencing internal divisions, posing a fundamental threat to its security and prosperity. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's policies and handling of the situation have been heavily criticized, and there are calls for his resignation or removal from office.

To address the crisis, it is suggested that the regime should open Gaza land crossings for humanitarian aid, cooperate with an independent international inquiry, implement an immediate ceasefire, and engage in good-faith negotiations for the release of captives.

International pressure on the regime, including potential suspension of arms sales, is recommended to encourage necessary changes. Ultimately, it is emphasized that Israelis must understand the need to mend their ways and secure their future without causing harm to others.

The world is sending a clear message to Israel: enough of blood and tears, enough.
