Number of journalists martyred by Zionist regime rises to 137
The Palestinian journalist Abdel Wahab Awni was martyred on Sunday after the Zionist regime’s army bombed his home in the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, the Government Media Office (GMO) said in a statement issued on Sunday.
After the martyring of the photojournalist in an Israeli airstrike, the GMO said that the number of journalists martyred since the start of the war has now risen to 137.
A record number of journalists have been martyred in the besieged enclave since October 7.
The latest air strike targeting reporters in Gaza came earlier today, when a journalists’ tent was targeted in the courtyard of Aqsa Hospital, killing at least four people.
