Iranian media expressed their support for Palestinian journalists

More than 3.570 journalists and members of the media of the Islamic Republic of Iran wrote a letter to say that they have spared no effort to support the oppressed, yet powerful nation of Palestine and will continue their endeavors to this end.

Here are the full texts of the letter:

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

“Never think of those martyred in the path of the cause of Allah as dead. In fact, they are alive with their Lord, well provided for.” (Surah Ali 'Imran, Verse 169)

Greetings and regards

Our greetings to you, the brave Palestinian journalists and media activists who put in writing honor and glory and with courage and strength have made the world see the Zionist enemy’s humiliation in the face of the oppressed, powerful and resistant Palestinian people. You, who have been a frame to reflect the bravery and epics created by the brave men of the Palestinian resistance on the scene of Gaza. ‎

The world is standing wholeheartedly by the Palestinian nation’s resistance cause, and this is perhaps the sweetest truth during these bitter days when the Zionist regime, in order to escape defeat, is widening the scopes of its crimes and killing of the innocent Palestinian people in Gaza every moment. This historic sweetness could not have been achieved but on the back of the braveries and martyrdom-seeking of you, the zealous men of the field of information dissemination and media. You who, through your round-the-clock efforts and sacrificing your blood, made the world hear the voice of the oppression of your land’s resistant and courageous people. ‎

Your weapon in the fight against cruelty is disseminating information, and how zealously and intelligently you used your weapon against the child-killing Zionist enemy.

You, the ambassadors of distributing information, how beautiful it is when you have no shelter yourself, but you appear on every scene and report, from amid fire and blood, the facts of the war and the genocidal Zionist regime’s crimes as well as the saga of the sacrifices and faith of the brave and resistant people of Gaza. ‎

It must be acknowledged that one of the indices of the Resistance Front’s victory in the Al-Aqsa Storm operation was the strong presence and unique activities of you, the Palestinian media activists. This issue well confirms the importance of the Jihad of explanation and the war of narratives, as well as the importance of accurate and quick dissemination of information; and perhaps if it were not for the efforts made by you, who put in writing the bloods that have been shed, in narrating the events of the Gaza war, the Zionism's narrative of the war would have succeeded in changing the oppressor’s place with that of the oppressed and we would have not witnessed this global awakening in support of Palestine and opposition to Israel. ‎

It is regrettable to say that during the past three months and up to the moment of writing this letter, over 120 of your fellow journalists and media activists have been martyred in Gaza, and undoubtedly, their pure blood was the last true account of a cruel war.

We, the journalists and members of the media in the Islamic Republic of Iran, while extending concurrently our congratulations and condolences on our Palestinian colleagues’ martyrdom in Gaza, express our sympathy to their families as well as to you the Palestinian writers and media activists, and condemn the Zionist regime’s crimes in this cowardly battle, in which the enemy does not adhere to any moral and international laws and regulations.

Your colleagues in the media of the Islamic Republic of Iran have, ever since the very first day of the ongoing war, reflected side by side with you the news of the oppression of the innocent people of Gaza, and have spared no effort to support the oppressed, yet powerful nation of Palestine and will continue their endeavors to this end. ‎

In the end, it must be said that as long as you, who put the light in writing, continue to exist, the sun of truth will not remain behind the veil of the Zionist media’s bids to sell ignorance.
