Zionist troops martyr three Palestinians, wounds nine in Al-Khalil and Tulkarem

Three Palestinians, including a young woman, were martyred and nine others were injured, today, Monday, by Israeli occupation forces’ (IOF) gunfire in Al-Khalil and Tulkarem cities of the occupied West Bank.

According to the Ministry of Health, two martyrs: Muhammad Abu Sebaa, 22, and the young woman Ahed Emtair, 24, succumbed to their critical wounds this evening shortly after being shot by IOF gunfire during confrontations in Doura town, south of Al-Khalil.

Member of the Palestinian Authority’s Preventive Security Service, Faris Khalifa from Nour Shams camp in Tulkarem, was also martyred by Israeli gunfire, Monday evening, at Ennab military checkpoint, east of the city.

The Ministry of Health announced the arrival of 10 wounded Palestinians, four of them in serious conditions, in Doura Governmental Hospital to receive treatment after being shot at the hands of the Zionist troops.

Local sources reported that among the cases was a girl who endured critical head injuries before she was later declared dead.

Israeli troops, escorted by a number of military vehicles, stormed the town of Doura, and arrested the young man, Nour Abu Ras, from his business shop.

Fierce clashes broke out in the town between Palestinians and Zionist troops who fired live bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas to disperse the protestors. Two young men were injured with live bullets and dozens of others suffered from suffocation.

The sources affirmed that Zionist troops used young men as human shields in Doura confrontations. Among the injured was photojournalist Mashhour Al-Wahwah, media sources added.
