Islamic Jihad envoy: withdrawal of troops from Gaza "proof of Tel Aviv's defeat"
Representative of Islamic Jihad movement in Tehran stresses that Zionist regime has not achieved any of its declared goals and suffered heavy defeat in Gaza war.
Tehran (Qodsna)- In a press conference dubbed "Gaza, swamp of Zionists" hosted by Qodsna in Tehran, Nasser Abu sharif reiterates that reduction and withdrawal of troops is not Zionist regime's tactic. On the contrary it is the sign of Zionist regime's heavy defeat in Gaza war.
Prolonging the war will increase losses and expenses for Zionist regime. Up to now, Gaza war has cost 60 billion dollars which is 25 times more than the costs of 51-day war, he noted.
The longer the war lasts, the more global anger and international pressure on Zionist regime will increase, Islamic Jihad envoy added.
Representative of Islamic Jihad movement describes global uprising for Palestinian people as great achievement for Palestinian resistance.
Abu Sharif also refers to the intensification of internal crises as another sign of failure and weakness of Zionist regime.
