There is a connection between Insulting to the Islamic sanctities in Western countries and Palestine
Bahraini scholar denounces desecration of Islamic sanctities in West and said that there is a connection between desecration of sacred things in the Western world and Palestine.
Bahraini scholar, Hani al-Banna, condemns the desecration of the Holy Qur'an in some European countries under the pretext of freedom of expression.
Speaking to Qods News Agency - in the Arba'een Pilgrimage, or the Arba'een Walk ceremony on the way from Karbala to Najaf Ashraf- Hani al-Banna, emphasized that insults into Islamic sanctities in European countries are related with the Zionist regime's violation of the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque and other Islamic holy places in occupied Palestine.
By the continuous desecrations, Enemies of Islam seek to weaken and attack Muslims and crush their morale, he noted.
The occupation of Palestine is also a part of western countries' plots with the aim of weakening the Islamic Ummah, Bahraini scholar added.
Hani al-Banna referred to the Imam Khomeini's revival of Palestinian issue and added that Palestinian cause is a pivotal issue of the whole Muslim Ummah.
If Palestinian issue is considered as just Arab issue, the entire Islamic nations will suffer, he asserted.
