Zionist troops quell anti-settlement marches in West Bank

Clashes were reported between Palestinian youths and Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Friday after Israeli troops quelled the anti-settlement marches in several areas of the West Bank.

 

Zionist troops fired live bullets, rubber-coated metal bullets, and tear gas bombs at Palestinian protesters in Kafr Qaddoum village in Qalqilya and in Beita and Beit Dajan villages in Nablus.

 

Medical sources reported that ten Palestinian citizens were injured by IOF rubber-coated metal bullets in Kafr Qaddoum.

 

Moreover, a number of Palestinian citizens suffered breathing problems after Zionist troops fired tear gas bombs in Beita.

 

Clashes were also reported in Urif village, to the south of Nablus after IOF troops fired live bullets and stun grenades at Palestinian houses.

 

In another development, a Palestinian citizen was injured by IOF live bullets in the thigh after the Zionist troops fired live bullets at Palestinian houses in Qaryut village, south of Nablus, to facilitate the Jewish settlers’ raid into the water spring of the village.

 

Furthermore, Jewish settlers, protected by Zionist troops, stormed the archaeological site of “Shahwan’s Synagogue” in Jericho and provocatively danced in the site.
