Iran marks 75th anniversary of Nakba or Catastrophe Day

International conference held in the Iranian capital of Tehran to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Nakba or Catastrophe, which is marked by Palestinians every May 14 to remember the expulsion of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from their homes and lands in 1948 after the founding of Israel.
Cultural and international figures, ambassadors of different countries as well as representatives of Palestinian movements convene in an international conference to discuss the issue of Palestine and the Catastrophe Day.
Secretary General of the Conference on Palestinian Intifada Mojtaba Abtahi, the representative of Lebanon's Hezbollah in Iran, Abdullah Safiuddin and Naser AbuSharif “Palestinian Islamic Jihad Representative In Iran delivered speeches at the conference.
At this conference, pointing to the latest Zionist regime’s war in Gaza and the victory of Palestinian resistance movements, emphasized that Israel's goal in the recent war was to improve its domestic image but Israel did not achieve any of its goals.
