Over 80 resistance operations in the West Bank within 24 hours

The West Bank witnessed 84 resistance operations targeting the Zionists' occupation and settlers in different areas, during the last 24 hours.

Clashes erupted and stones were thrown at several points in the West Bank, including Al-Quds, Nablus, Jenin, Qalqilya, Bethlehem and Al-khalil.

 

Clashes were reported between Israeli occupation forces (IOF) and Palestinian protestors on Friday after IOF troops attacked Palestinian protestors in several areas of the West Bank.

 

Dozens of Palestinian citizens were injured after IOF troops fired live bullets, rubber-coated metal bullets, and tear gas bombs at Palestinian protestors in Beita and Beit Dajan villages in Nablus and in Kafr Qaddoum village in Qalqilya.

 

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that 25 Palestinian citizens were injured in Beita and Beit Dajan. 

 

For its part, the Palestinian Medical Relief Society said that 17 Palestinian citizens were injured, pointing out that two were wounded by tear gas bombs, one in the shoulder and another in the hand.

 

Local sources reported that two Palestinian young men in addition to a foreign activist were injured, while dozens of Palestinian citizens suffered breathing problems in Kafr Qaddoum.

 

In the center of the West Bank city of al-Khalil, three Palestinian citizens were injured in the face and the head by tear gas bombs after IOF soldiers attacked Palestinian protestors who commemorated the 30th anniversary of the Ibrahimi Mosque massacre in the Bab al-Zawiya area. 

 

Meanwhile, a Palestinian boy was injured by the IOF explosive “Tutu” live bullets after IOF soldiers attacked a funeral procession in the al-Arroub refugee camp, north of al-Khalil.

 

Moreover, IOF soldiers fired tear gas bombs at Palestinian worshippers who performed prayer near the structures that are threatened with demolition in the village of Aqaba, east of the West Bank city of Tubas, which triggered clashes.

 

In a related development, dozens of Palestinian citizens were injured by Israeli live bullets or suffered breathing problems after Israeli soldiers attacked Palestinian protestors at the Gaza Strip borders.

 

The Palestinian ministry of health reported that two Palestinian citizens were injured, one of whom was seriously injured in the head during clashes with Israeli soldiers east of the Abu Safiyya area, east of the Jabalia refugee camp, in the northern Gaza Strip.

 

Furthermore, two Palestinian young men were injured by Israeli live bullets while several suffered breathing problems after Israeli soldiers attacked Palestinian youths to the east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

 

In another development, several Palestinians suffered breathing problems after the Israeli soldiers fired teargas bombs at Palestinian houses in Qaryut village, south of Nablus, to facilitate the Jewish settlers’ raid into the water spring of the village.

 

Moreover, six Palestinian citizens including a local activist were injured after Jewish settlers stormed the town of Rammun, northeast of the West Bank city of Ramallah, according to local sources.
