Dozens of flights delayed due to strike in Tel Aviv

A mass strike by staff at David Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv, which stopped check-in for flights on Wednesday, resulted in multiple flight delays and long passenger queues, Israeli media reported.

According to The Times of Israel, airport employees refused to check passengers on their flights for several hours, protesting working conditions and non-fulfillment of contractual obligations.

The broadcast reported that the protest action should end at 14:00 local time (15:00 Moscow time), but flight delays are still expected.

Airport employees are not satisfied with continuing to work in the working conditions brought in during the pandemic period, especially with wage cuts.
