SDPN hold expert meeting on West Bank latest developments

Tehran (Qodsna) – The expert meeting held on Tuesday at the conference hall of Iran-based Society to Defend the Palestinian Nation (SDPN).

This meeting focused on subjects including "the spread of the armed intifada in the West Bank and its effects on the equation of the conflict between Palestine and Zionist regime” and the analysis of the fifth parliamentary election of the Zionist regime in about five years and also the possibilities of the impact of the new Zionist regime’s cabinet on the conflict equation in the geography of Palestine and the region.

Different pro-Palestinian figures and political experts in Iran, including Hossein Royvaran, political deputy of the SDPN and Sa’adollah Zarei, senior expert on West Asia explain about these subjects.

Holding 5 Israeli elections in four years indicates the weakness of this regime and the political crisis in the Zionist regime society. However, it is still not clear that this election will be able to solve the Zionist regime’s problems, and there is no guarantee that this election will be able to solve the problem of this regime, Zarei said.

The challenge of the Zionist regime’s elections has not yet been resolved and Netanyahu has not left a good track record with a history of 4 consecutive terms as prime minister and has not had a positive performance. Withdrawal of Israel from Lebanon, numerous 33-day and 22-day wars, etc. .. that the result of all these wars has been defeat for Israel, are some examples of this performance, Zarei added.  

Hossein Royvaran also said that “The new generation of Palestine is actually the founder of the first and second intifada and the new resistance in the Palestinian society. The expansion of resistance since 2006 has shown that Israel is facing a serious problem”.

The Supreme Leader's recommendation that the West Bank should be armed like Gaza has now been confirmed. The expansion of resistance in various parts of the West Bank actually shows the important point that the Palestinian society is ready and waiting for armed resistance, Royvaran added.

Regarding the elections and the formation of the future government headed by Netanyahu, he said that Netanyahu's government cannot finish its four-year term. Netanyahu's behavior history shows that he cannot tolerate any behavior outside his scope. In the past, he disagreed with Lieberman on various issues, and finally, on the issue of the army's attack on Gaza during Lieberman's ministry, Lieberman left the cabinet without coordinating with Netanyahu.

Benny Gantz, who was the Minister of War, left the coalition with Netanyahu due to a disagreement with Netanyahu over the military budget. Yair Lapid, who was the Minister of Finance, got into trouble with Netanyahu due to a dispute over the budget and left the coalition with him.
