IOF martyred Palestinian teenager, seriously injures another near Ramallah

Israeli forces have martyred a Palestinian teenager and seriously wounded another during an attack near a town in the north-central part of the occupied West Bank.
According to the Palestinian health ministry, 18-year-old Musaab Nafl, a farmer from al-Mazra'a ash-Sharqiya village in eastern Ramallah, was critically injured by a live bullet in his heart in an agricultural area near Sinjil town.
Later, the young man was pronounced dead by doctors at Palestine Hospital.
The health ministry also said that another young citizen suffered a serious bullet injury in the same area.
Local sources affirmed that Israeli troops opened fire at the two young men as they were walking on a dirt road that leads to Mazra'a ash-Sharqiya village, adding that the IOF detained one of the wounded young men and allowed a Palestinian ambulance crew, who rushed to the area, to evacuate Nafl.
According to a source from the family of the slain young man, Nafl had been with members of his family on their own land picking olives before a horde of extremist Jewish settlers showed up and started to hurl stones at them, so they left the area and went in different directions. Soon later, gunshots were heard and the family came to know that Nafl and one of his relatives were seriously injured by IOF gunfire.
In a separate incident, a Palestinian young man was injured by live ammunition and dozens suffered from rubber bullet injuries and their exposure to tear gas during violent clashes in the evening with Israeli forces near al-Quds University in the east Jerusalem town of Abu Dis.
According to the Red Crescent, one young man was injured by a live bullet and 12 others by rubber bullets, while one suffered from a fracture, 11 from burns and 36 from the effects of tears gas.
