Al-Quds is a human responsibility

Tehran (Qodsna) - On the eve of the International Quds Day, Qods News Agency intends to use the expert opinions of personalities and political analysts to better explain one of the most important initiatives of the great founder of the Islamic Revolution, an issue whose importance is increasingly understood every year.

Speaking with Qods News Agency, Palestinian author and political analyst Akram Atallah talked about the importance of the International Quds Day in spreading unity amongst Muslim nations, saying that “it is clear that creating unity and solidarity among Islamic countries is not easy due to differences of opinion in the field of religion and regional interests and the relations of some of these governments with foreign colonial powers.”

“It is natural that foreign forces and their regional puppets will not easily allow unity and solidarity to be fully formed among the Islamic nations,” he added.

The Palestinian expert also referred to the recent regional policies of some Arab states, stressing that “the Arab countries of the region, including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, etc., have somehow distanced themselves from their religious values and sense of unity with the Palestinians. If they return to their origins and the forces of the Muslim forces are strengthened, the hopes for the defeat of Israel and the liberation of holy Al-Quds will be much more alive.”

“Al-Quds is of great importance because it is the soul of the Muslim Ummah. Israel is trying in every way to distort the nature and forms of this holy city and its sacred and historical places. The expulsion of the Israeli occupiers from Al-Quds is a human responsibility and a religious duty too, and the international community must be aware of it,” Akram Atallah said.
