Turkey, Israel can work together to bring gas to Europe - Erdoğan

“We had already opened a path with Israel on this point in the past. We could use Israeli natural gas in our country, and beyond our use, we could enter a joint effort for the transport of this gas to Europe,” state-run Anadolu Agency cited Erdoğan as saying on Friday.

“During Mr Herzog’s visit to Turkey these issues will be on our agenda, Allah willing,” Erdoğan said.

The Zionist regime's President Isaac Herzog is scheduled to visit Turkey in mid-March, Erdoğan had announced in an earlier press conference.
 

Turkey and Israel have started to publicly work on mending ties in 2020, following 2018’s falling out when both countries expelled their ambassadors.

Erdoğan spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett in November for the first time in years.
