Canadian journalist told Qodsna:
Both Biden and Trump are Zionist

A Canadian author, Eric Walberg said: “Israel has always got what it wanted. Jews are adept at social manipulation, and a strong Israel lobby in the US makes sure that whoever is in power in Washington treats Israel carefully.”
In an exclusive interview with Qods News Agency, a Canadian writer and journalist specializing in Middle East affairs, Eric Walberg talked about the recent developments in the United States and the impacts of Biden’s government on Middle East affairs, especially on the Palestinian issue.
As the inauguration day of Joe Biden is coming up, Walberg talked about differences between Biden and Trump’s policies in the Middle East, noting that “both Trump and Biden are both Zionists and support Israel, Biden at least holds to traditional US positions, calling on Israel to make concessions, to stop stealing Palestinian lands, to treat Palestinians as human beings deserving basic human rights. Biden will at least try to push Israel in that direction.”
“Trump didn't care about Palestinians. He liked bold flourishes, like moving the capital of Israel to Jerusalem, or pushing weak, pro-US Arab states to recognize Israel without any concessions on Israel's part. Such moves harm the Palestinian cause and in any case, are merely cosmetic,” he added.
“Israel's interests are beneficial to Israel only and they harm the US. Then there is the distortion of US foreign policy to meet the interests of Israel, in particular, the obsession with destroying Iran and Iran allies like the Houthis, the only anti-imperialist forces in the world that dare defy the US and Israel. The US is a laughing-stock for its blind support of Israeli atrocities, preventing the UN from taking any real action to bring Israel into following international legal norms,” Walberg said, referring to the US unequivocal support for Israel.
“The entire US society, culture, the educational system is captured by Zionist thinking,” the Canadian writer stressed.
Talking about possible the influence of Israeli lobbies on the US soil, Walberg then explained: “Israel has always got what it wanted. Jews are adept at social manipulation, and a strong Israel lobby in the US makes sure that whoever is in power in Washington treats Israel carefully.”
The Canadian figure also asserted that the UAE and Morocco would keep their relations with Israel under Biden’s presidency as “they were bribed by Trump with arms sales and the recognition of Moroccan claims to Western Sahara.”
“While Sudan was taken off the terrorist list as its bribe, Sudanese are strong supporters of Palestine and there will no doubt be problems for Israel,” he added.
Answering to question about the possible domestic and international challenges that Israel would face in the future, Walberg highlighted that “Israel faces domestic unrest, sharp divisions racially and extremes of wealth and poverty. Environmental problems are severe. Israel, like the US, sees itself as exceptional, not constrained by international norms. It has few real friends, though many who pretend this, as everyone is afraid of being called Anti-Semitic if s/he criticizes Israel. Zionist dominance in all popular media means that such attacks ruin careers in all walks of life. People live in fear of Israel and Jews in general. By building its society as a racist one, Israel alienates the vast majority, and gains no sympathy when it has problems.”
He expressed his hope that a Biden’s government would have “the courage to stop arms sales to Saudi Arabia and help bring Khashoggi's murderers to justice. This could lead to the collapse of the Saudi autocracy, which would require bold, farsighted leadership by the US working with the other great powers to demilitarize the Middle East and bring closer a genuine Palestine-Israel in the holy lands.”
