Zionist military concerned about Iran missile’s capability

A Zionist military official: One of the operational priority of Israel is the Iranian effort to form a fighting front against Israel in Syria, Iraq and Yemen.

A Zionist military official said Lebanese Hezbollah movement was the biggest threat to this regime, but Tel Aviv's priority now was the Gaza Strip.

In an interview with Israeli daily Yediot Aharonot, analyst Ron Ben Yishai, the senior Zionist military official said Gaza is high on the Zionist regime’s priority list because Gaza is volatile and explosive.

The Zionist officer claimed that the Zionist army was in a situation where it could be forced to launch an offensive in Gaza in the near future.

According to him, Hezbollah will remain the most dangerous “enemy”, but Gaza is the most urgent issue that must be dealt with as quickly as possible.

Yediot Aharonot, quoting this Zionist officer, wrote: “The second operational priority was and remains the Iranian effort to form a fighting front against Israel in Syria, Iraq and Yemen”.

He claimed that Iran transferred high-precision surface-to-surface missiles to Syria, while trying to restrict the freedom of action of Israeli fighters in Syrian airspace.

He also comes in third place, preparations to thwart Iran's nuclear program, Iran's rapid intensification of the development of its missiles and its anti-aircraft and anti-spyware defense systems.

While in fourth place is the West Bank, which is in fact in danger of exploding, and which the Shin Bet security services and the Zionist army have failed to cope with anti-occupation attacks.

The Zionist military official, however, designated Hezbollah in Lebanon as the fifth priority, making it clear that Hezbollah was ready to engage in any war in the short or long term.

“Hezbollah can do in a day, anything it did during the Thirty-three Day War of 2006, and Israeli military and security officials view Hezbollah as the greatest threat; but the internal situation in Lebanon reduces the possibilities of escalation at the present time”, he added.
