Zahra Mostafavi elected as Secretary General for two years
Mostafavi, who has been the Head of Society for the Defense of Palestinian People since 2000, has been elected as secretary general of the year since 2014, for two years. After that, she renewed her general secretary's role in February 2016, and for the third time she won the majority votes of the 31 members of the General Assembly for the third time and was elected as Secretary-General.
With the majority vote of the members of the general assembly of the Society for the Defense of Palestinian People Dr. Zahra Mostafavi was elected as Secretary General for the society for the next two years.
According to Qods News Agency (Qodsna) the annual general meeting of the General Assembly of the Society for the Defense of Palestinian People was held yesterday afternoon (Monday) with the presence of the majority of the members of the General Assembly, the board members chose Dr. Zahra Mostafavi, the daughter of Imam Khomeini, as secretary general of the Society for the Defense of Palestinian People for two more years.

The meeting was also followed by the appointment of members of the Executive Board of the Population, including Dr. Zahra Mostafavi, Ayatollah Mohammad Hassan Rahimian, Ayatollah Meysam Amroudi, Dr. Hossein Mozaffar, Mehdi Shakibaee, Seyed Mohammad Reza Eathollahi, and Hossein Shaykh al-Islam as members.
