Economic pressures on Iran doomed to failure

Dr. Seyyed Hossein Naghavi Hosseini, member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, in an interview with the parliamentary correspondent of Qods News Agency (Qodsna) discussed the American-Israeli economic pressures over the Iranian people, as well as the threats and rhetoric of war and said: “As a matter of fact Americans in Trumps administration, are a lot more relying on a military phase especially after leaving JCPOA, but this does not mean that they will eventually enter a military phase against Iran, but it means that they are highly working on surveys which examines military stages.”

The member of the National Security and Internal Affairs Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly said: “It seems that the Americans will not step into a military stage directly against Iran, because according to their surveys the cost of a direct military action is very high for them, and also they don’t dare to attack Iran directly.”

“US forces have long been stuck in Afghanistan for about 20 year. The Islamic Republic of Iran has a very strong defense zone; Americans are very well concerned about that.”

Husseini continued, "So the Americans will not engage themselves in direct military action but they are seriously after operating a proxy war, they are provoking Gulf regimes to create a so-called anti-Iranian alliance including Bahrain, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Jordan, they are hoping that these Persian Gulf Arab regimes will take military actions against Iran, even a limited action. Americans are well aware that these puppet regimes, don’t dare to even think about fighting against Iran.

The member of the Iranian National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly continued: Netanyahu keeps sending video messages for Iranian people and address the public to influence Iran's public opinion. This is a joint tactic of anti-Iran regimes in the region and beyond the region. By this they are trying to ignite domestic clashes inside Iran and this is called foreign interference to the domestic issues of an independent country like Iran.
