The 8th conference on Gaza symbol of resistance started its session now in Tehran
Today on 23 January 2018 a meeting was held titled as the 8th conference on Gaza symbol resistance with the presence of Ali Larijani Parliament speaker of Islam Republic of Iran, Zahra Mostafavi secretary general of Society for the Defense of Palestinian Nation and a number of activists.
The meeting was held on the occassion of the victory of resistance movement groups against the 22 day war with Israeli aggression.
The 8th international conference titled “Gaza, Symbol of Resistance” was held in the Iranian capital on Tuesday.
The Society for the Defense of Palestinian Nation organized the event in cooperation with Qods news agency.
Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani, representatives of Palestinian resistance movement groups and a number of other political figures are expected to take part in the conference. It will come a few days after the Gaza Day.
January 19 has been designated by the Iranian parliament as the Gaza Day in the Iranian calendar.
The day was named in the aftermath of the resistance put up by the residents of the coastal enclave in the face of the full-scale Israeli invasion which led to Gaza’s victory in the 22-day Gaza War during December 27, 2008-January 18, 2009.
Hossein Mozzafar a member of the Society for the Defence of Palestinian Nation said that this day should also be marked as the day which we expose the war crimes of zionist regime, because during the 22 day war zionist lobbies forced the international medias to remain silence.
