Photography exhibition titled as "Quds, Permanent Capital of Palestine" held in Tehran

This special photography exhibition was held in an opposition to the controversial declaration of Trump in which he recognized al-Qods as Israel’s capital, this exhibition which featured some dozen Palestinian symbols of Islamic Resistance and efforts for freedom of Qods-i Sharif declared al-Qods as permanent capital of Palestine. The meeting was held together with presence of Palestinian resistance movement leaders and experts from the Islamic Resistance of Palestine.

Among the guests who were present at the event, Mahdi Shakibai, the director of the Quds news agency, Nasser Abu Sharif, the representative of the Palestine Islamic Jihad movement in Iran, Hossein Royvaran, head of the board of the International Union of anti-occupation Youth, Middle East experts and Palestinian activists.

At the ceremony opening, Taqinejad, director of the Baharan Cultural Center, said: “The Palestine Photography Exhibition is one of our aspirations; we hope that Palestine will be freed as soon as possible.”

Following to the meeting Nasser Abu Sharif said: "al-Qods is the permanent capital of Palestinian people, In Quran there are many verses that are devoted to Qods, and in addition to this Iran’s Supreme Leader has mentioned that defending Palestine is an Islamic duty.”

He added that the last presence of Jews in Palestine was finished by 132 BC, and continued until 1917, after they entered the Palestinian territories the people of Palestine were present on this holy land, and they did not make any changes in the context of this land.

Abu Sharif emphasized: “The allegation that the Palestinian land has been changed by the Palestinian people is a lie. I emphasize that the Zionist regime has no birth certificates in this land. They even drilled a number of diggings to find Jewish heritages to invoke themselves and attribute the land to themselves.

He added: "The Jews have a long history of prophet genocides. After hundred years, Trump buried the Balfour Declaration, and once again attributed the Quds which belonging to Muslims to the allegedly Zionists. We and the Islamic Revolution of Iran know that their target is to hurt Islam. They are trying to keep Islamic world in weak situations. We all need to wake up against this American-zionist conspiracy. As they are united, we must also be united.

Following the event, Dr. Hussein Royaran, an international relations expert, said: “Definitely resistance to Trump’s decisions will do remarkable efforts." The US actions in this regard evaluates that Quds has been a blind corner of the peace talks.”
