Saudi unfortunately persists ill-advised policies

Former spokesman of the Iranian foreign ministry says the Saudi government has lost its previous status and position in the Muslim community due to its ill-advised policies.

Mohammad Ali Hosseini was speaking to the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) about the Saudi’s confrontational policies against Iran.

He said the Saudi army could serve the region as a powerful army however it has been used in a negative way.

The Iranian diplomat said the Saudi policies have proved futile “however we have yet to see any window of reversal” in their policies.

The former spokesman added that if influential countries in the region stop accompanying the Saudi government in its policies, it may possibly think of changing the course.
