The rally participants also carried banners reading ‘Palestine will be freed,’ ‘Quds belongs to us,’ ‘death to the US,’ and ‘death to Israel.’
Interviewed by the Qods News Agency (Qodsna), several demonstrators expressed their views over the recent developments.
Engineer of urban development, Yaqoubi Wafa said he had joined the rally to express his support to the Palestinian people and his disgust at the world arrogant powers.
He added the US recognition of the occupied city as the capital of Israel will push Israel one more step towards collapse.
For his part, a cleric, Hojjatoleslam Fakharian said the US and Israel have embarked on the move as a remedy for their imminent collapse, adding the measure proved the Western-Zionist front is in tatters.
The cleric said the US measure would inflame a new intifada.
A retiree, Mr. Behnejad said the rally was a funeral for those who had committed treason against the Muslim community.
He added that the US measure would push Israel towards collapse.
A university student, Ms. Ehdayeemand said the participants had joined the rally in a bid to show their unity concerning the Palestinian issue and to say to the world that ‘Tehran or Quds make no difference.’
Also, a seminary instructor, Ms. Talebian said Muslims would not allow Palestinian to fall in the hands of Israel.
She said the US president was going to set off the flames of a new war in the region.
Another retiree, Ms Rahimi said the source of all conspiracies in the region was Britain, adding the country sowed the seeds of sedition in the region one hundred years ago by paving the ground for the fabrication of Israel.
And, a school teacher, Ms. Ahmadi said the true owner of Quds (God) would respond to the US and Israel and would ruin their phony grandeur.
He added that ultimately the force of resistance will overcome the force of falsehood.
And, prayers leader of Mohammad Rasoulollah mosque in Tehran, Hojatoleslam Ali Fathi said the US hastened the collapse of Israel by the strategic mistake.
“God willing, Islam will be the victor and the illegitimate regime will be ruined,” he said.
The mosque prayers leader said Muslims could defeat the ISIS terror group by steadfastness and unity, adding Israel could be defeated if they get united.
Also, university student Ms. Ahmadian said the Iranian people will stand the track until the removal of Israel.
She added that all Muslims had a duty to stand the Palestinian issue until the end without compromise.
And, 9-year-old school student, Ms. Ahmadi said she had joined the rally to express solidarity with the Palestinian children and chant for the freedom of the occupied Quds.
