Velayati to meet top Syrian authorities in Damascus

Secretary General of the Global Assembly of Islamic Awakening, Ali Akbar Velayati was set to meet with Syrian Foreign Minister, Walid al-Muallem in Damascus on Monday to talk about the latest regional developments.

Velayati will also meet with Syrian Prime Minister, Ali Mamlouk the same day.

The Iranian diplomat is set to meet with the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Tuesday.

The unexpected resignation of the Lebanese Prime Minister, Saad Hariri will certainly shadow the agenda of the meetings.
