Nasrallah phones Haneyya, offers condolences

Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has offered his condolences to Hamas Political Bureau chief, Ismail Haneyya  for the martyrdom of Hamas and Islamic Jihad fighters during an Israel raid days earlier.

Nasrallah affirmed Hezbollah’s support and standing by the side of the Palestinian resistance.  

Haneyya, for his part, thanked Nasrallah for the call and perceived it as an expression of strong relation between both parties. Both sides talked over the horizons and future of the Palestinian Question, according to a statement by Haneyya’s office .

Earlier on Tuesday, Nasrallah received Deputy Head of Hamas’s Political Bureau, Saleh al-Arouri. They held talks on the recent developments in the Gaza Strip in light of the Israeli latest aggression and its consequences.
