Titled “true promise: Palestine between Balfour declaration and Divine promise,” the conference lasts for two days.
Earlier, head of the conference, Sheikh Maher Hamoud said the conference will be turning point in the path of freedom of Palestine, adding many Muslim scholars are under pressure not to join the conference.
Hamoud denounced the Balfour Declaration, issued one hundred years ago as a precursor to the collapse of the Muslim community and its turning into small states under the Skyes-Picot deal.
