2.5 km underpass in Tehran named after Gaza martyrs

Tehran Municipality has constructed and inaugurated an underpass north of the capital that is named after the martyrs of Gaza.

The Gaza Martyrs underpass stretches for 2.5 kilometers and runs under Chitgar forest park.

The tunnel forms part of 22-kmn highway that encompasses 19 overpasses and crosses.

The construction project started 4 years ago.
