Largest US aircraft carrier dock at Haifa port in Israel

The largest and newest US aircraft carrier docked at Haifa port in Israel.

The USS George H.W. Bush can carry over 5,000 crew members and 90 different aircraft.

Over the past several years, the carrier was deployed in the Persian Gulf, from where fighter jets attacked ISIS targets in Syria.

US officials refused to comment on the purpose of the visit.

Israel maintains close ties with the US Navy and the US Air Force and similar visits in the past included joint exercises.
