Arab NATO aimed at removing Palestinian issue - Abu Sharif

Representative of the Islamic Jihad movement in Tehran, Naser Abu Sharif believed that the formation of an Arab NATO as proposed by the US and approved by Saudi was aimed at removing the Palestinian issue.

Representative of the Islamic Jihad movement in Tehran, Naser Abu Sharif has regretted that certain states in the region have changed their approach toward the Palestinian issue “to the extent that those who always tended to reject US ‘peace’ offers are now approving every western project.”

He made the remarks in a press conference held in Tehran on the “International day of Quds and the new regional equations,” co-organized by the Society in Defense of the Palestinian Nation (SDPN) and the Qods News Agency (Qodsna).

“Those who have relinquished Palestine are facing a major deviation in politics and religion,” he said, invoking a verse of the holy Koran that urges Muslims to beware against friendship with sedition-making Jews.

Abu Sharif believed that the formation of an Arab NATO as proposed by the US and approved by Saudi was aimed at removing the Palestinian issue.

Abu Sharif said the International Day of Quds was an opportunity to get Muslims united in a force against their true enemy, Israel.

He urged Muslims to follow the line of policy set by the international Quds day occasion.
