MP: Terrorist operations against Syria aim to safeguard Israeli sovereignty

An Iranian lawmaker said the recent terrorist operations in Syria has been part of a complicated and full-scale design against the country.

Muhammad Abraham rezai said the terrorist bombings in Syria are carried out to keep the Zionist regime’s sovereignty, adding that following the emergence of the Islamic awakening movement, the Zionist regime saw its identity in tatters, prompting the us and the US-led world arrogance to stir crises in Syria to save the regime.

Rezai criticized the international community for its double standard towards the killings of civilian people in Syria, adding the UN has always decided under the pressure of the west and the Zionist lobby. He said: “in Syria as well the body even bids covert support to terrorist,” he said, adding that the Syrian crisis was a pre-planned project to defeat the regional axis of resistance against Israel.

The deputy chief of Iran’s parliamentary committee on naional security and foreign policy said however that the resistance has mad its roots among the reonal nations and would not dependent on any special individual or government.

Rezai said the only solution to the Syrian crisis was tohalt the foreign support to the terrorist groups inside the country.
