Mowj Managing Director: Special for 30th anniversary of Islamic Revolution 3

Managing Director of Mowj News Agency said the perseverance of the Gaza people against the Zionist regime amid the silence of Arab countries showed that the American version of Islam and Pan-Arabism had lost the dynamism to cater to regional political demands and that only the fine version of Islam presented by Imam Khomeini would offer help.

Mahmoud-Reza Amini told Qodsna that a major factor behind the victory of Islamic Revolution was the existence of Imam Khomeini at the center of Islamic Revolution doctrine, adding that regional resistance would get boost from the Islamic Revolution platform.

He noted that in the pre-revolutionary era, America was dominant on the regional political line-up while Israel played the role of scarecrow for the US and European interests.

"The emergence of Islamic Republic however changed the regional equation and the mind of revolutionary groups," he said, adding that the myth of invincibility of Israel was torn apart after Hezbollah emerged in Lebanon leading to change of mind of other resistance groups in the region.

"In fact the Islamic Revolution gave boost to resistance. The advocates of the platform are growing," he concluded.
