Israeli settlers adamant on Aqsa break-ins
Israeli settlers and Antiquity Authority staff members, escorted by Israeli troops, stormed on Wednesday morning the al-Aqsa Mosque - the third holiest site in Islam.
Israeli policemen unlocked the Maghareba Gate at 07:30, paving the way for the morning break-in shift, and closed it at 11:00 a.m.
Speaking with PIC, Palestinian sources in the city said 39 Israeli settlers and four members of the Israeli Antiquity Authority defiled the site.
The Israeli police also seized the IDs of the Muslim worshipers while they allowed 533 non-Muslim visitors to defile the Mosque.
Over 1,200 Israeli settlers broke into the site during the seven-day Jewish Passover holiday.
