700 foreign guests from 80 countries in attendance

Spokesman of the international conference on the Palestinian intifada, Kazem Jalali says the conference will start work with a statement by the Islamic Revolution Leader, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, adding heads of the three branches of power in Iran will also attend and the Iranian president will deliver a speech.

Jalali said the conference corps will then focus on different aspects of the Palestinian issue in various committees.

In the closing ceremony, a symphony of resistance will be performed and several resistance groups will be appreciated before the four committees of the conference read out their reports.

 The spokesperson said over 700 foreign guests from 80 countries will attend the conference, adding the guests include parliament speakers, deputy parliament speakers, senior resistance authorities, and pro-Palestinian NGOs.

The conference will be headed by the Iranian parliament speaker, Ali Larijani, the spokesperson said.

Jalali said on Thursday, the pro-Palestinian NGOs from Iran and beyond will stage a separate conference in Tehran, focusing on the Palestinian issue.

The spokesperson said the conference was being held at a momentous time in light of the touchy regional conditions.
